1:6 Scale The Fugitive Doctor Outfit
Excited to present our 1:6 Scale recreation of the Fugitive Doctor’s costume worn by English actress, Jo Martin, in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who.
Getting the print design was a major challenge for us due to the lack of references we could find. In this regard, we wish to thank Paul Brown for providing us a template to use as basis in designing the final design layout to closely resemble the colorful printed patterns on her blouse which we had to perfectly get in scale to match the proportions of the Phicen S39B body that was used in this project. Since generic 1:6 Scale bodies often do not match the actor’s physique, we had to create a special padded undersuit to correct the body proportions. Buttons were also specially crafted to scale to achieve proper miniaturization.
The outfit set we made consists of a Navy Wool Frock Coat and Waistcoat, a Poet Blouse with Custom Printed Multifaceted Textile Designs and Black Cargo Trousers.
