Red Skull Trench Coat Conversion to Genuine Leather
It is an unfortunate fact that action figure clothing made from PVC Leather has a tendency to flake and crack over time when environment conditions is very humid or there is no proper air circulation within the display area or when the material is enclosed in a box for long periods of time.
This problem has occurred to several of our clients and we've converted boots, jackets, vests and other Faux Leather materials to genuine leather for durability.
Presented here is a recent restoration we did wherein we replaced the faux leather components of the Hot Toys MMS167 Red Skull Trench Coat into genuine leather. We disassembled the clothing to salvage undamaged fabrics in order to keep it as close to the original as possible.
