Jackson Lake (The Next Doctor) 1:6 Scale Outfit
Presenting our latest commissioned 1:6 scale tailored outfit recreation of Jackson Lake from the 2008 Doctor Who Christmas Special, Doctor Who episode “The Next Doctor,” portrayed by David Morrissey.
Set in Victorian-era London during the Tenth Doctor’s adventures, Jackson Lake’s unforgettable ensemble blended period elegance with the eccentric charm that made fans briefly believe he could truly be the Doctor himself. His layered costume featured a richly patterned red waistcoat, oversized cravat, textured frock coat, and tailored trousers — all contributing to the theatrical silhouette and mysterious presence that made the character instantly iconic among Doctor Who collectors.
For this bespoke 1:6 scale recreation, specially designed and properly scaled custom fabric prints were developed exclusively for the frock coat, vest, and cravat to faithfully capture the intricate textures and screen-inspired detailing of the original costume. Every component was carefully tailored to preserve the layered Victorian styling, proportions, and overall visual character of the outfit in sixth scale form.
From the warm autumn-toned plaid frock coat to the ornate floral waistcoat and soft draped cravat, this project was a rewarding tribute to one of Doctor Who’s most memorable Christmas special guest characters — a design instantly recognizable to longtime Whovians and collectors of screen-accurate sixth scale figures alike.
Geewhiz Customs is currently accepting bespoke tailoring commissions for 1:6 and 1:4 scale art collectible figures. If you envision elevating your display with custom figures and statues with museum-quality tailored outfits, we would be delighted to collaborate with you.
